Hi everyone and happy beginning of September!
I for one am extremely happy that August is finally over. Halfway through the month, I lost all motivation to do anything so hopefully September is a lot better.
To start things off, this month I really wanted to do my first ever “To Be Read” (TBR) post. I don’t want to get overly ambitious, seeing how terrible I did in August but I will at least have 3 books.

So the first book, on my list is The Last Wish Introducing The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkwowski. This book follows the story of Geralt. Geralt is a Witcher, a man who with a combination of magic, a sword, and his smarts, is able to take on a number of monsters. Keeping it short! I will have longer summaries in my review for the books.
So back in July I decided to start doing a “book of the month” challenge. Where I just pick a book and read it, hopefully finishing it before the month is over. Pretty self-explanatory and standard stuff.

But really I just wanted something that would hold me accountable and give me a time frame to keep in mind. That way, I can still have some leniency with myself in case I don’t feel like reading but in the long run know that for every lazy day I have to make up for it.
The Last Wish was actually my August pick for Book of the Month, which I sadly did not finish. While I am hoping to finish it this month I did not want to recycle it as my pick for September’s Book of the Month.

That said, my actual pick for September is Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer. As many already know, Midnight Sun is Twilight told from Edward’s perspective.
With Midnight Sun being so long, I don’t know if I’ll even have enough time to read anything else after it. But in case I do, my last pick for September is Sentimental Memories by Nestor S. Garcia.
This last book on my list is a short collection of poetry and it is actually written by a local author in my area. I’ve read some poems here and there but never read it cover to cover, so I finally wanted to dedicate some time to it.
Anyways that’s my list. I hope everyone has an amazing and productive September!
