Hello everyone. I hope you are all having an amazing reading month this March (2022). And, if not an amazing one, at least a better one than me.
This month my reading has really slowed down. I’ve been working a little more but really I’ve just been in a slump too. After reading a particularly awful book, I haven’t had the motivation to read much of anything or continue reading the books I was already reading.
For much of February and so far into March I have slowly been chipping away at “They Both Die at the End” by Adam Silvera.
It’s not that I’m not enjoying it but I feel like I lost a lot of my momentum with the book, so continuing it has gotten harder and harder the longer I take.
It may sound increadibly contradictory but I actually really like it; I think the concept is very intriguing and unique. I’m just not enjoying the process of reading it.
Because I refuse to abandon the book, I recently checked out the audiobook and I’m hoping that will help me finish it off.
I guess it is worth noting that I am also currently reading “Godsgrave” by Jay Kristoff even though I haven’t made much progress on it since Feb 5.
Basically I put it on pause while I read “They Both Die at the End” but because I’m taking longer than expected finishing that one, I don’t even know if I’ll even continue reading it.
