November TBR

Hello again everyone.

These last couple of weeks have passed by so fast and it’s just felt like there is not enough time in the day to get things done. I really dropped the ball in October and didn’t read at all after the thirteenth.

So because of that, the first thing on my agenda for November, is finishing up Mosquitoland by David Arnold. With how little I read in October, I only managed to get through about 31 percent of the book, so I still got a long ways to go.

I’m enjoying the plot so far, I’m a slow reader which is why I tend to take so long to read a single book. That and I’m easily distracted; in the time that I should have been reading I was playing The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds. I got completely addicted and practically didn’t do anything until I passed the entire game.

That said, I’m hoping that I can get through Mosquitoland in about a week so that I can move on to my Book of the Month pick for November, which is Nevernight by Jay Kristoff.

I have actually tried to read this book in the past, I think I’ve had the book for a little over six months now. When I originally got it I was so excited to read it, but around the same time I started reading it, I had bought The First Time She Drowned by Kerry Kletter and I was more in the mood to read a sad book than I was to read a fantasy book, so I kind of set Nevernight down and just didn’t pick it back up. So this will be my second attempt at reading it. I definitely wanted to fit it in before the year ended; I don’t get books in bulk so whatever I get is what I tend to read, and I think I’ve had Nevernight on the sidelines long enough.
